Heat Wave

The Heat is on
its the time of the season... to strip down.
Summer 2011 Swimsuit Trends:

Vintage Swimwear
1950's Statement Suit
They're playful, curvaceous
&
 steeped in sex appeal.
In 2011 many designers are infusing vintage-inspired details into modern swimsuit pieces.

Crochet Swimwear
The Crochet swimsuit was Influenced both by the return of 1970s fashion and the crochet clothing trend
when worn right, crochet swimwear offers up that elusive cocktail of sex appeal and reality that every woman wants from her swimsuit. After all, the perfect crochet swimwear doesn't just show off the body and allude to more of it, its intricate wide stitch catches the eye, drawing the viewer in while distracting them from any flaws, imagined or otherwise, that you might wish to not have noticed.

Ruffled Swimwear
Ruffled detailing on this seasons swimsuits allows
women to find a distinct, feminine way
for their swimsuits standout by the pool and at the beach.
Unlike vintage swimwear or even one-shouldered bikinis
ruffles swimwear has no distinct style 'rules'.
Ruffles can range from being a subtle accent to a dominant feature
either way they are flattering and fabulous.
Printed Swimwear
Digital prints are everywhere this summer and spring.
Its a natural progression of technology that
fashion designers now have at their disposal.
Despite always being popular
the digital printed swimwear this seasons style
takes its queues from the sports-as-fashion street wear trend
and sees the print applied to swimwear that is more functional then fashionable.
From bandeau bikinis to cap-sleeves one pieces
the range is directional yet sexy
with keyhole detailing that ups the hot factor.
Stripped Swimwear
Sassy and Sexy.
Stripped detailing on swimsuits has always been a trend.
It mixes well with other trends such as the vintage theme and ruffled detailing.
It's a classic trend
